Keynote and central themes
The keynote featured Francessca Vasquez, then AWS Vice President of Professional Services and Generative AI. It emphasized the move from AI experiments to production implementations alongside workload migration and modernization.
Four themes ran through the event: accelerating innovation with generative AI, modernizing legacy infrastructure, building trusted data foundations, and strengthening cloud security and compliance.
Sessions and tracks
More than 150 sessions ranged from level 100 introductions to level 400 specialist content. Formats included breakouts, code talks, lightning talks, and chalk talks. Tracks across migration and modernization, data and analytics, generative AI, and security showed how AWS combined technical services with adoption and governance patterns.
That structure remains a useful reference: the level indicates technical depth, while the track connects content to a real business or platform problem.
Expo and community
The expo brought together demonstrations, AWS teams, partners, and customers. Beyond the sessions, conversations with architects and peers facing similar challenges helped attendees compare approaches and turn ideas into more concrete next steps.
