Cloud Engineer (DevOps)

Elevata is looking for a Cloud Engineer (DevOps) to support product, data, and AI teams in building modern, secure, and scalable AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS and containerized applications.
• Operate Kafka data pipelines for real-time streaming.
• Support hybrid environments with a focus on security and performance.
• Configure AWS networking, including VPC, Transit Gateway, and route tables.
• Write automation in TypeScript, Python, and Bash.
• Maintain observability, monitoring, and incident-response readiness.
• Collaborate with AI, data, and product teams.

Requirements

• Three or more years of hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab CI, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Docker.
• Experience with Kafka and real-time data pipelines.
• Knowledge of hybrid environments and AWS networking, including EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, route tables, security groups, and IAM.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with Git and Linux and Windows environments, following secure operating practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with Big Data, Analytics, or Machine Learning infrastructure.
• Experience with CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation and multi-cloud migrations.
• Experience in regulated environments.
